In logistics, every hour of waiting generates costs. Therefore, reducing cargo transit time not only improves operational efficiency but also delivers direct economic benefits to businesses.

VSICO Lao Bao Inland Container Depot (ICD) was developed and is being positioned to contribute to shorter transit times and lower logistics costs along the East–West Economic Corridor.

Saving 24 hours of waiting time at the border gate means businesses can potentially reduce costs equivalent to one full day of vehicle depreciation, financing costs on transport assets, as well as related operating and management expenses.
