On March 20, VSICO attended the 2026 Hưng Yên Province Business & Entrepreneurs Meeting and officially signed a commitment to implement the ICD Văn Lâm project — one of the province’s key logistics infrastructure projects.
At the event, Party Central Committee Member and Hưng Yên Provincial Party Secretary Nguyễn Hữu Nghĩa, together with Party Central Committee Member and Chairman of the Hưng Yên Provincial People’s Committee Phạm Quang Ngọc, acknowledged and highly appreciated the important contributions made by the business community in driving economic growth, infrastructure development, and enhancing the province’s competitiveness.

ICD Văn Lâm is strategically positioned to become Northern Vietnam’s import distribution center, serving as a large-scale cargo consolidation and distribution hub, similar to regional logistics hubs but optimized for Vietnam’s domestic market.
The project covers a total area of 150,000 m², including:
▪️ 95,000 m² for multifunctional warehousing systems, including general warehouses, cold storage, chemical warehouses, and bonded warehouses.
▪️ 55,000 m² allocated for bonded yards, cargo yards, and container yards.
This integrated model allows storage, customs clearance, and cargo transshipment to be handled within a single logistics complex.
ICD Văn Lâm will integrate on-site Customs operations, enabling businesses to complete customs clearance directly at the ICD, shortening processing times and reducing pressure on seaport systems.
With synchronized connectivity between road, railway, and seaport infrastructure, the project is expected to form a strategic logistics corridor, especially along the Vietnam–China transport route.

The project is scheduled to commence operations in early 2029, targeting:
▪️ Capacity of 150,000 TEU per year
▪️ 90% warehouse occupancy rate
▪️ An ecosystem of approximately 200 logistics enterprises operating within the complex
The project is expected to play a key role in reducing pressure on Hải Phòng Port, shortening domestic delivery lead times, optimizing logistics costs for import businesses, and expanding regional cargo transshipment capabilities.
The signing commitment not only demonstrates VSICO’s responsibility to implement the project on schedule, but also reaffirms the company’s long-term strategy of developing modern logistics infrastructure aligned with real market demands in each locality.
